  • Day 01: Arrive in Tanzania

    Full Safari Itinerary - Safari & Beach (14 Days / 13 nights)
    Day 01:      Arrive in Tanzania
    You will be met by Ecological wilderness safari guides after clearing customs and migration formalities and transferred to Ngaresero Mountain Lodge.
    In the main house are two suites approximately 55 square meters. These shares the main balcony and the Kilimanjaro view. The Lodge has been adapted from an early colonial farmhouse built at the turn of the century. It has just ten rooms and provides personal service to Lodge residents only. Thick walls, heavy timber beams and period décor impart comfort and charm.
    The snows of Kilimanjaro form a splendid backdrop for a sundowner on the verandah and watching the changing colors of the glaciers is an unforgettable experience.
    The gardens contain a profusion of trees and flowers, two hundred species of birds have been recorded. Troupes of Sykes and Columbus monkeys inhabit the forest and grounds

    Day 02: Lake Manyara national park – Karatu

    After breakfast, drive to Tloma Lodge via Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunch. This is an nice  farm house, built within the coffee plantation; it is a great place to stay surrounded by green gardens and beautiful flowers.

    Day 03 - 07 Southern Serengeti Plains

    Four full days of excitement awaits you as you  depart from the Camp at sunrise in order to capture the dawn activities, and the early morning light.  You  will return to Camp for a late breakfast , and have an opportunity to relax in the Camp – enjoying your natural environment watching a heard of Impala wander not far from the Camp before going for your afternoon game drive
    The spacious verandah in front of your room is furnished with comfortable safari chairs and tables - the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching a weaver bird building its nest in a nearby Acacia tree, a herd of impala grazing quietly only meters away, or simply relaxing and listening to the sounds of the African bush.

    Bathroom is complete with a dressing table with fully plumbed washbasin, lavatory and showers – a new, and often surprising, interpretation of ‘camping’. Hot water is available throughout the day and evening and, like your laundry, morning tea or in fact your every need will be arranged by your Butler allowing for a refreshing wash, shower or maybe a shave on the verandah of your tent.
    Cuisine under canvas is exceptional, using only fresh ingredients, original recipes and with beautiful presentation our camp chefs never cease to amaze our guests. We cater to all dietary requirements, however demanding. Meals can be served al fresco or in the traditional mess tent and served by our liveried waiters.

    Day 08 & 09 Ngorongoro Crater

    After breakfast drive to Ngorongorro Highlands with picnic Lunches and go straight to The Crater fooor for game drive. Lunch will be a picnic lunch at a site located near a hippo pool. After viewing game in the afternoon you proceed toward the lodge to your lodge.
    Nestled onto the rim of the Crater, all in stone and wood construction and overgrown with natural vegetation, the 75 rooms of the lodge become almost unseen among the natural surroundings. They are breathtaking views of the crater from all the rooms.
    Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most spectacular and certainly the most unique game-viewing destination on Earth. A perfectly-formed sunken caldera, ringed by 2000 foot high walls and inhabited by as wide a cross-section of wildlife as lives on the continent of Africa. We will take today to explore this awe-inspiring natural amphitheatre in full, using our 4WD safari-viewing vehicles to full effect in order to investigate every eco-system and pocket of the finest game-viewing destination on the planet. We have a very good chance of spotting the Big Five in a single day during our game drive including the endangered Black Rhino, and the network of tracks allows us a proximity rarely afforded elsewhere on the safari circuit.

    Day 10 & 11 Ngorongoro – Tarangire

    Leave after breakfast to Tarangire National park with picnic lunch It will take about 3 hrs to get to the Park and immediately start the game drive through the park lunch at the picnic site after lunch proceed toward the Swala Tented Camp.

    Day 10 Fly to Zanzibar

    Today you will fly to the tropical island of Zanzibar, the spice capital of the world; a beautiful island that has it all, from coral reefs to deserted beaches, colorful locals to ancient architecture and African markets to westernized shopping.
    You will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation in Stone Town. This day of your Zanzibar tour will be spent at leisure exploring the many mazes of the alley ways that Stone Town has to offer. You will be staying in the heart of town with everything at your fingertips. Optional activities on this Zanzibar tour: Jozani Forest and swimming with dolphins. There will be 2 people per room.
    The inn is set in two historic seafront buildings that have been masterfully restored to their previous grandeur. Accommodations are exceptionally welcoming and comfortable. Each guest room is appointed with details and artwork that reflect Zanzibar’s heritage. All rooms are air-conditioned and overlook the azure waters of the Indian Ocean.

    Day 11 – 13 Zanzibar Island

    Today will be spent time with a guide taking you around the many sights of Stone Town. You will go on a Spice Tour, which will include visiting a Spice plantation where you will get to taste the spices.
    You will also visit The House Of Wonders and the slave chambers on this Zanzibar tour. After the tour you will be transferred to the north of the island to Nungwi beach to your accommodation close to the beach. There is 2 people per room.
    Dinner & overnight at Ras Nungwi Beach Resort
    Nungwi Beach is a touch of paradise, with beautiful white beaches and crystal clear water. There are numerous things to do here or you can choose just to relax in island style and enjoy the warmth of the Indian Ocean. Restaurants, bars and shops are all within walking distance during your Zanzibar tour. Optional activities on this Zanzibar tour: scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and boat trips.     Day 14 Depart

    Sadly you have to leave this paradise today. Own arrangements for your flight back home, whereby you have the option to fly out of Zanzibar or take a local flight to Dar and fly out of Dar es Salaam.
