Jongomero Camp is an exclusive safari camp in the remote southern reaches of Ruaha National Park, Tanzania's largest national park. Set beneath towering trees along the seasonal Jongomero River, the camp's 8 spacious open-fronted tents offer complete immersion in one of Africa's wildest and least-visited wilderness areas. Ruaha is renowned for its enormous elephant herds, large lion prides, wild dog packs, and the dramatic landscape where the Great Ruaha River carves through ancient rock formations. With no fences, wildlife wanders freely through camp — elephants at the waterhole, leopards in the trees, lions calling at night.
