Frequently Asked Questions
Will I get bored on long drives?
Rarely! There is always something to see - even "empty" savanna reveals secretary birds, dung beetles, and incredible landscapes. Your guide shares fascinating stories and facts.
What if I need the bathroom during game drives?
Bush toilets! Your guide finds a safe, private spot. It is completely normal and part of the adventure. Lodges have proper facilities.
Is it safe to sleep in a tent with lions around?
Yes! Camps are in safe locations, and canvas tents are surprisingly secure. Animals associate tents with humans and keep their distance. Staff monitor the camp at night.
Do I need to be fit?
Standard game drives require minimal fitness - you are seated in a vehicle. Walking safaris require moderate fitness but are optional.
