Day to day

Day 1: Fly from Arusha to Northern Serengeti

Accommodation: Serengeti Savannah Mara River Camp

Start your safari adventure with a morning flight from Arusha to the Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, you will be picked up by your safari guide and enjoy a game drive en route to your camp. After lunch and some relaxation, head out for an afternoon game drive, capturing your first images of the Great Migration.

Days 2-4: Full Days of Game Viewing in Northern Serengeti

Accommodation: Serengeti Savannah Mara River Camp

Over the next three days, you will have ample time to explore the Mara River area, a prime location for the wildebeest migration. The Mara River crossing is one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles, where herds of wildebeest and zebras brave the predator-filled waters. Although catching a crossing in action can be unpredictable, spending full days in the field greatly increases your chances. Game drives will begin at dawn and continue until the soft evening light, perfect for photography. Besides the migration, the area is home to resident wildlife, including lions, elephants, and leopards, making every moment in the field a photographic opportunity.

Day 5: Fly Back to Arusha

Following breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you head back to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you can opt for a day-use room before your homebound flight.
