8 day Hadzabe Bushmen Tour
Overview
An 8 day wilderness safari and cultural tour that lets you interact with the Lake Eyasi natives. The Hadzabe Bushmen are natural hunters and gatherers that have lived in total shutdown from the rest of the world. Experience bush life like no other as you try to make fire with sticks and watch them sing war songs as they enjoy their bush meat.
Apart from the Lake Eyasi bushmen, you will also do routine safari game drives. During your daily game drives, you’ll witness the annual ancient drama of life, death, and rebirth in this primeval wilderness in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania.

Fly-in to Ndutu Airstrip (08:30 am) with a local flight, Pick up from Ndutu Airstrip and drive to Serengeti Savannah Camp Ndutu with enroute game viewing; after early lunch continue game-viewing in the Serengeti. Undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Serengeti is home to the highest density of animals in the world as well as being unrivalled for its natural beauty, diversity and scientific value. During your daily game-drives you’ll witness the annual ancient drama of life, death and rebirth in this primeval wilderness.
Overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camp
Two Full days game viewing. It is possible to see many of the Serengeti’s resident wildlife including giraffe, buffalo, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, impala reedbuck bushbuck, dik dik, hippopotamus, crocodile, warthog and diverse birdlife .Large prides of lion reside here, as well as clan of spotted hyena. Late afternoon return to the Serengeti Savannah Camp for dinner and overnight
After breakfast drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcano, once as high as present day Mount Meru. Stop at Olduvai Gorge, a world famous archaeological site for a visit to the local museum, before driving to your luxury lodge perched on the crater rim. No lodges are inside the Crater so overnight is at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
After an early breakfast, spend half-day in the Crater photographing or simply enjoying the animals and landscapes. At lunchtime, relax with a picnic, and then leave heading to Lake Eyasi into Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp. While at the camp get familiar with the surroundings and learn more about the culture around here before a delicious dinner and restful night.
In the morning after breakfast, you will have an exciting day. Accompanied by a local guide you will be introduced to the Hadzabe Bushmen in the morning, and then you will take off for food gathering. You will see the places where they collect fruits and roots and find their water during dry season. Your guide is very experienced and will interpret what we will get to see, your guide will show you around where the Hadzabe live - they use caves as a home. You will have a very active day before heading to Bouganvillea Lodge for dinner and overnight
Today we drive in comfort to Tarangire National Park for excellent game viewing. After a relaxing lunch, we’ll enter head off for game viewing in the national park, this is a small park which offers some excellent sights famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, plains game and predators. Generally in the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. We spend the night at Tarangire Safari lodge beautifully set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere
Free morning to relax after your great northern safari or drive back to Arusha and explore the town, especially Maasai market for gift buying.
