1.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us via email. All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by Ecological Wilderness Adventure.

1.2 Accuracy of Information

You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking. This includes passport details, dietary requirements, medical conditions, and emergency contact information.

1.3 Age Requirements

Certain safaris have minimum age requirements. Children under 12 years may not be permitted on some game drives. Please check specific tour requirements before booking.

2.1 Deposit Requirements

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to confirm your booking
• Full payment is due 60 days before the safari start date
• Bookings made within 60 days of departure require immediate full payment

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• Bank Transfer (SWIFT/International)
• PayPal
• Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money for local payments)

2.3 Currency and Pricing

All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to currency fluctuations, fuel costs, or changes in government taxes.

Cancellation fees apply as follows from the date of written cancellation notice:

Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

3.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to force majeure events including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements.

4.1 Passports and Visas

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports (with at least 6 months validity), visas, and any required travel documents. We can provide visa guidance but are not responsible for visa denials.

4.2 Health and Vaccinations

It is your responsibility to:

• Obtain required vaccinations (Yellow Fever may be mandatory)
• Take anti-malarial medication as recommended
• Consult your doctor about fitness for travel and safari activities
• Inform us of any medical conditions or dietary requirements

4.3 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and emergency evacuation. Safari activities involve inherent risks, and insurance is essential.

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Ecological Wilderness Adventure acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (hotels, airlines, tour operators). While we select reputable partners, we are not liable for their acts, errors, or omissions.

5.2 Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your safari. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance.

5.3 Wildlife Safaris

Wildlife viewing is a natural experience and sightings cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable if specific animals are not seen during your safari.

5.4 Client Behavior

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove clients from safaris if their behavior endangers themselves, others, or wildlife. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
