Enjoy your morning in Arusha, mid morning you will be picked by EWA representative and driven to Arusha airport for your domestic afternoon flight to the Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival you will be met by your EWA guide who will be with you till the last day
Position yourself near the Mara River for one of nature's greatest spectacles. Thousands of wildebeest gather on the banks, building courage before plunging into the crocodile-infested waters in a chaotic, heart-stopping crossing. Even when crossings are not active, the northern Serengeti offers exceptional game viewing with large predator populations drawn by the migration herds.
Our final full day along the Mara River. By now you'll have witnessed multiple crossing attempts and perhaps the successful—and sometimes tragic—dramas that define this natural spectacle. Today we might explore alternative crossing points or focus on the predators that follow the migration. Lions, leopards, and hyenas are never far from the abundance.
After one last bush breakfast, we'll make our way back toward the Kogatende airstrip. We've arranged day-use rooms for you at Kia Lodge, located just three minutes from the airport. It's a great spot to have a hot shower, reorganize your camera gear, and look through your photos one last time before your evening flight. You'll head to the gate with a full memory card and a very different perspective on the natural world. Kwaheri—until we meet again on safari.
