Maasai Mara Big Cat Safari

Depart Nairobi early and drive west through the Great Rift Valley toward the Masai Mara National Reserve, covering 280 kilometers in approximately five hours. The route passes through Narok town, the gateway to the Mara. Arrive at your camp by early afternoon and head straight out for an evening game drive focused on locating the resident big cat prides and coalitions.

A full day dedicated to tracking the Mara's famous big cats with your expert guide. The Mara is home to over 40 lion prides, several cheetah families, and a healthy leopard population. Early morning is prime time as cats return from nocturnal hunts or begin stalking prey in the golden light. Afternoon drives focus on leopard territory along the Talek and Mara rivers.
