Start your safari adventure with a drive from your hotel in Arusha to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park's diverse landscapes, where you'll have the chance to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Keep an eye out for predators like lions and leopards that roam the area. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. In the late afternoon, continue your game drive as you make your way out of the park. Transfer to Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay, where you can relax in comfort and reflect on the day's exciting wildlife encounters.
After breakfast at the lodge, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Pause at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to capture panoramic photos of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue your journey to the Serengeti, entering through the Naabi Hill Gate. As you drive towards your camp, enjoy a game drive across the endless plains, spotting wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, and, if timing allows, the migrating herds of wildebeest and zebras. Arrive at Kati Kati Tented Camp in time to unwind before dinner. Experience the magic of the African bush as you dine under the stars and listen to the distant calls of nocturnal animals.
Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti, an area rich in wildlife due to the Seronera River's year-round water supply. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. Witness predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action, as well as herds of elephants and an array of birdlife. If the Great Migration is in the area, you'll have the chance to see thousands of wildebeest and zebras grazing across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot to make the most of your time in the wild. As the day draws to a close, return to your camp for a relaxing evening and a delicious dinner shared with fellow travelers.
Day 4: After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, located in the southern part of the Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy game viewing along the way, arriving at Savannah Ndutu Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive to explore the Ndutu woodlands and open plains, known for their seasonal abundance of wildlife.
Days 5–6: Spend the next two days immersed in the unique landscapes of the Ndutu area. This region is especially famous during the calving season (December to March), when thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Participate in morning and afternoon game drives to witness these incredible natural events. Between drives, relax at the camp, enjoying the serene environment and possibly engaging in optional activities like guided nature walks or cultural visits to local Maasai communities. Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing stories and enjoying dinners under the expansive African sky.
