Wildlife Photography, Tanzania
Wildlife photography is the equivalent of wildlife art only that with photography you have to rely on your camera to capture the “kodak” moments in Africa
Wildlife Photography tips
Equipment. For wildlife photography, you will basically need the right tools for the job, since it would be dangerous shooting while on foot, you will need lenses with a higher zoom to get up close and personal with nature.
Stay awake. You must be ready at all times, with wildlife photography anything exciting could happen. Your fingers should always be ready on the trigger.
Two words, battery, memory cards. Make sure you do not miss that special moment because you have run out of battery charge or you have to delete photos for space.
Bean bag. Since it will take a lot of your time waiting for the right moment and shooting, bean bags will come in handy, for sharper images, good focus and comfort.
Follow park rules. Do not do things that will provoke wild animals or try to get their attention, or get close to a wild animal on foot to get a selfie or close up photo. Most national parks have a rule about this.
Golden hour. To get the best of the natural light and amazing photos. always take photos with the sun behind you. The best time with the best light is early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
