Trip Description
This wildebeest migration safari and climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is pretty challenging. The ascent continues as you make your way to Shira, passing through a number of clearings with fantastic views of Mount Meru and Longido in the western corridor… Before arriving at the last point of the day, one must ascend through multiple ravines through terrain covered with enormous lobelia and giant groundsels to Shira cave.

Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Arusha

After breakfast then drive to Marangu gate for formal registration and final parking thereafter start to climb through the fascinating rainforest up to Mandara (2774M).
O/N Mandara Hut
Breakfast then continue with your climbing, ascent through the alpine, grassland and moorland to Horombo(3761m) with a spectacular view of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks when those peaks are out of the
clouds
O/N Horombo Hut
Acclimatization day at Horombo, spending the morning hours of your day to ascend nearby Mawenzi peak and return for lunch, after a long rest then walking to the valley and returning for dinner and overnight staying at Horombo.
O/N Horombo Hut
Ascent further to Kibo(4732m), walking through a rough and eroded land with a chance of encountering the mountain spectacular vegetation the likes of giant cactus, lobelia and groundswell to pass the last water point
O/N Kibo Hut
Wake up a bit early in the morning(after midnight) for the summit, it is a very big day(Rambo day)
ascending though Gilman's point(5816m) to Uhuru peak( 5895m) the highest point in Africa(roof of Africa),after a short while then regrouping and descending following your foot steps to Horombo
O/N Horombo Hut
Breakfast then descending further down to Marangu gate where you will be signing off and awarded your certificate and transfer back to your hotel

Leave the hotel and drive to Serengeti Savannah Camp Ndutu with enroute game viewing with packed lunch. Undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, the Serengeti is home to the highest density of animals in the world as well as being unrivalled for its natural beauty, diversity and scientific value. During your daily game-drives you’ll witness the annual ancient drama of life, death and rebirth in this primeval wilderness.
Overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camp
A full day game drives in Ndutu area. It is possible to see many of the Serengeti’s resident wildlife including giraffe, buffalo, topi, hartebeest, waterbuck, impala reedbuck bushbuck, dik dik, hippopotamus, warthog and diverse birdlife .Large prides of lion reside here, as well as clan of spotted hyena. Overnight Serengeti Savannah Camp
After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for crater tour, spend almost a full day in the Crater photographing or simply enjoying the animals and landscapes. At lunchtime, relax with a picnic, and then later in a day ascending to the Lodge, on the rim of the crater. Arrive in time for a cool drink and hot shower before a delicious dinner and restful night.
Overnight at Sopa Lodge
After breakfast, then drive to Arusha and shopping before driving to Kilimanjaro Airport for your return flight
