Most game drive safaris either normally happen very early in the morning or late in the afternoon. The reason to this is because during these times of the day, it is cooler as the sun is not intense so animals in the African wild are always active. Night Game Drives

Unlike day game drives, night game drives and private guided adventures and can only take place in private wildlife reserves and a chosen few parks. These night game drive adventures are tailored to track and view rare nocturnal animals that are mostly active at nighttime like the porcupine and aardvark and cats like leopards, and other big cats of Africa.
